"Bad things happen in the world, like war, natural disasters, disease; but out of those situations always arise stories of ordinary people, doing extraordinary things."

— Daryn Kagan

Since 1995, over 606,000 lives have been lost and 4.1 billion people have been injured, left homeless or in need of emergency assistance as a result of weather-related disasters around the globe.*

Shahid Afridi Foundation's Global Disaster Recovery Program aims to ensure fast recovery in the aftermath of a disaster — natural or man-made.

In 2017, we allocated $32,000 CAD to the flood victims of Montreal, when floods hit southern Quebec, affecting 146 municipalities in Canada. After excessive rainfall, 2,426 residences were flooded and 2,720 people were forced from their homes. Our donations contributed towards rehabilitation of the flood victims in Canada.

Shahid Afridi Foundation will continue to help humanity in every possible way regardless of geographical boundaries.

Together, we can be the source of light for people surrounded by darkness.

A man’s true wealth is the good he does in this world.
— Prophet Mohammad
