The value of cricket to Canada extends beyond sport. Through cricket, we aim to bring communities together, create a positive cultural impact, promote physical and mental health.

Since 1992, boys' sports participation declined from 66% to 56%, and girls' from 49% to 45%* in Canada. As a result of increased cost of sports, lack of motivation and parental influence; young individuals are walking away from organized sports.

We challenge the status quo through our Cricket Engagement Program.

Shahid Afridi Foundation Canada is partnering up with the prominent sport stakeholders in Canada to provide a step-by-step structured program, helping young individuals identify their strengths, develop skills and excel as a cricketer. Our aim is to provide outstanding facilities, cricket tournaments, education and trainingCricket is our fundamental tool in promoting health, creating social awareness and community engagement.
